RECYCLEDCRAFT: Space Sex Mystery?
PREMISE (example)
You awaken on a train - or a sleek-feeling spacecraft, or a boat, or even a submarine.
The shape of the craft isn't important, or even immediately apparent - but you are here, a sealed, surprisingly comfortable room with a soft bed, whereas before you were home. If home was even where you wanted to be.
"Good morning, passenger," a voice purrs; you can feel a presence with it, but there's no indication anyone is in the room with you.
There is, however, a comfortable weight along your legs, your arms, your spine... something appears ready to keep you here for a while.
What will you do?
CONTEXT
What is this, exactly? This premise is a smut spinoff of a wider continuity - the 'space'craft your character is on has taken your character from their home. It - any and all pronouns are fine, and if you OOCly have a preference just give a heads-up in your starter comment and we'll go from there - has been through quite a time recently, having lost its crew and the programming that initially determined its purpose. (Some data/facts still remain for basic navigation and specialization - see the next entry!) Nor does it remember exactly how it happened, just that something terrible happened and it has to do things more on-its-own now.
But what it can still do is (A) interpret characters' emotions and respond accordingly, (B) provide safe and sturdy transport plus life support and (C) bond intensely with those now tied to it!
This can be for a one-on-one scenario, a group account, or even joint threading if everyone would like to put in the time to sort things out! Can start with the premise above, or can be time-skipped along to where both parties are familiar with one another.
OPTIONS
What kind of 'craft are you on, anyway?
The Ace - originally a sleek fighter craft, this one was made to take to space and the skies with impunity! Very flexible, good at interpreting orders, and still carries echoes of 'tude from its former crew. And now it's focusing all that energy on you. Think you can take it?
Star-Gazer - originally a solo-craft meant for exploration, this 'craft was built to take someone far, and to provide companionship to anchor someone to reality on the way. It's designed to be cozy, and is not meant to be shared. Maybe it remembers another name alongside yours, but it no longer recalls those memories consistently. But perhaps that isn't a bad thing...
Like the Lightning - this was a mercenary's craft, passed along from generation to generation. With acute knowledge of trade routes and meticulously-crafted stealth routines to take shelter on even the most unexpected worlds, its job is to do the job - but it can't do so alone, and that's where you come in. Such a partnership does come with benefits, as a matter of course.
*This IS meant to poke fun at myself, to be clear.
GENERAL SCENARIOS
Introductions - Exactly what it says on the tin.
Visiting a World - Can be just shopping, can be a 'risk of getting caught' sort of deal, or you've caught whiff of Adventure. Each 'craft will have different reactions, of course, but fun CAN be had by all!
Voidstorm* - Traveling through one of these tends to have... unique effects. Usually ones that are temporarily bad for one's sanity, but not having to be alone during them is supposed to help. Or it can just make things weirder; you never know! Don't try to break the windows and go outside, though; that's never a good idea.
*I'm not changing what it's called, because I can't think of anything better to call it. To explain 'from the outside': imagine if sex pollen were a space phenomenon you could fly through, and be directly effected mentally/emotionally. Hallucinations, particularly shared hallucinations, are common. Seeing people you love outside and feeling compelled to go out there is also possible. Other possibilities include seeing emotions as aura colors, feeling compelled to speak and act on one's deepest feelings, and not being able to understand other languages.
You can see why sex pollen wouldn't be out of place here, right?
KINKS
Anticipated Content: Mindsharing, Voyeurism and/or Exhibitionism, Sense Play, Cuddling (through atypical means), Xenophilia, Mechanophilia, Vulnerability (Emotional, Physical), Light Bondage, Body Worship.
Personal Favorites (Not required for the premise, just ones I like): Biting, Sense-sharing, Orgasm Control, Sensory Overload, Slow-to-Warm-Up, Breastplay, Lactation.
Nos: Watersports/Scat, Bloodplay, Necrophilia.
Any kinks not listed under any of these are open to discussion, as well.

'It only changes the order in which you visit the stops.' Meaning, primarily, that perishables would wait until the end.
'Any kind of thing in particular you had in mind to find?' There was an amused undercurrent to those words, and the Star Gazer nudged Konoka lightly through the link.
no subject
And of course, figuring out what she meant by that prodding.
"Well, I did want to see what passed for some good clothes these days," Konoka answered. "And it couldn't hurt to see if there was an equivalent of a bookstore too, for stuff to read on my down time." She was trying not to think about the ways the coils dug into her and stimulated her, but at the same time, it wasn't unbearable. There was a bit of furtive looking around, but everyone who waved at her didn't seem like they suspected anything.
Fine by her.
no subject
For both Konoka's sake and her own.
'So do not worry about overindulgence.'
Admittedly, solving the mystery of how she still had funds to spare (Konoka would only need to swipe her SCA instead of a card to make purchases) was part of the purpose of the Star Gazer's research...
Being able to be 'present' with Konoka would be a good anchoring distraction for both of them, it seemed.
no subject
While she hadn't initially thought of it, she wondered if there were... toys she could get for herself to aid in her... captivity fantasies. But buying such things outright, especially since she was out in public like this, embarrassed her too much.
She eventually came up to one of the shops where she needed to get actual supplies. "Ah, Star Gazer. Is this it?"
Handwaving the actual Things they're purchasing, at least for now.
There were alternatives - waystations in the void itself - where such purchases could happen, but those would mean less interaction with other people. And Konoka did need more person-to-person interaction to stay sane, she could admit that.
But it meant some objects of interest could be tabled for later.
'It is on the map, yes,' the Star Gazer confirmed, a smile in her voice.
'Mind the crowd; this one seems a bit popular...'
Mine, however, was the impression conveyed by the sudden release-and-resqueeze in all the bands.
no subject
Maybe Konoka had lingered too close to someone, or maybe she had been spacing out when a particularly minor thing distracted her. Either way, Konoka didn't quite expect the squeeze coming, and when it hit, she visibly reacted. Only covering her mouth kept her from sounding straight up lewd in public.
Despite everything, that squeeze had felt good. At the same time though, it had almost gotten her in trouble! At least a couple of people gave her a few odd looks.
"I'm alright!" Konoka assured them. "Just clumsy!" And she had at least convinced them that she had bonked her shoulder against something. Satisfied, Konoka bit back a wave of arousal as her fluster was very clear in her link. "Warn me next time!" She whispered.
no subject
The Star Gazer sent reassurance, as well. All will be well.
She just had, well, things to process - especially as she switched from looking up approximate terms for difficulties encountered in the void, and started looking at the latest news releases concerning void travel. Hopefully she'd know enough of what was going on to figure out how to explain it to Konoka by the time this trip was over.
There would still come other squeezes, at seemingly random moments as Konoka moved from shop to shop (albeit with the warning as promised), but none would be quite as severe in intensity.
no subject
At the very least that particular store visit had been the worst, crowd-wise, and the sooner she stayed off of any escalator, the better. Elevators took longer, but at least she wouldn't feel weirdly self-conscious about someone staring up her skirt, even if it was long enough that it wouldn't provide a good view!
More squeezes did come as Konoka was exploring elsewhere. With warning, she could brace and not give herself away, but they still worked her up quite a bit. Coming up with a white lie about why her cheeks were red to a chatty cashier had been a bit of an exercise, but... Konoka kinda liked it. Hiding the way the Star Gazer teased her, while having some flavor of human interaction satisfied her in a way she couldn't explain right then.
It was approaching nightfall--or whatever equivalent existed on this world--and Konoka was wanting to rest the night and recharge. Konoka had much more to do with Star Gazer. "I think that's everything, right?" She asked about their supplies.
no subject
And concern. Konoka's emotions had made for a calming balance, and her return was something for the Star Gazer to look forward to.
'Yes, that's right', she confirmed, finally switching back to words to answer the question.
'We can head back to the void after packing up, or wait until morning, see what a sunrise is like here.'
With all the clouds, it was sure to be quite a sight.
'I have also been looking up information, ideas on where we can go next. Konoka... you'll want to come inside, so I can explain it, or what I've learned of it, all at once.'
She didn't sound happy about it, either.
no subject
"What's the matter?" Konoka asked. "What's going on?"
But it was clear that she'd get her explanation in the ship, not anywhere else. "There's no need to rush, right? We can leave for the void in the morning."
Staying the night in an actual world would be relieving for her, given that she couldn't stare out the window like she could then.
no subject
'After all, it appears we are not in trouble.'
Konoka would get the sense that this was the truth, and was meant to be somewhat consolatory for them both - but, as ever, there was more to it, and more that was worrying at that.
no subject
Or the likelihood that they would not be finding their way home any time soon.
"Well," Konoka said, trying to be as reassuring as she could. "You can fill me in on how much trouble we aren't as soon as all our stuff is packed away. And look, I'm back!"
She had returned to the docking station. By the looks of things, she wasn't the only one who stayed at their ship for a night, which was reassuring in its own way, but she was also thankful for Star Gazer's small size and the fact that it would be just the two of them within.
no subject
There were a few more waves from fellow void travelers as Konoka reboarded and unloaded her purchases.
Once the Star Gazer's door was sealed again, however, the pressure returned - almost as much to reassure herself as it was for Konoka's pleasure.
"Konoka, dear... it appears we are far from the only ones in this predicament. Both in terms of people disappearing from their worlds, and in people being removed from their voidcraft and likewise pulled through the void itself. And I must say, it..."
Silence fell, as she looked for how to put it. Words were much harder than feeling, in some ways, but clarification here was vital.
"We are both lucky, that we managed to find each other. Most of those also reported as being drawn through the void have not survived, barring those who did not land in a void hub or similarly conditioned world. Something has influenced the void itself, how it connects all worlds. The ministry has put out warnings, and is trying to compose a list of who has been found so far, as well as where they are from. It is an ongoing effort."
no subject
A part of her felt relief at not being the only person in this predicament, but much of that was wiped away by the quick surge of guilt she felt, followed by the actual heaviness of the news. If they weren't in immediate trouble, this meant the phenomenon was targeting people who weren't bonded like they were.
To the point Konoka had to basically repeat her logic out loud, to be sure. "So do we don't know yet why this phenomenon is happening? And the only reason it's not repeating is due to this thing I'm wearing?" She pointed to her SCA.
no subject
"But yes, your SCA keeps you linked to me, and it is much harder to break a tether when you have it on."
Hence also why there were so many in place.
"I can take us to the nearest base, where they should be able to scan you and better determine the system you are from. Perhaps they will have mine on file as well, including who previously owned me."
Her mood shifted to an uncertain one. "I do not know what they might find. Perhaps they are alive, unlikely as it is, but I do not know how they would take my not remembering them. ... If possible, Konoka, I would prefer to stay with you."
It may register that the Star Gazer is not addressing Konoka as her passenger anymore. Though given the enormity of the subject at hand, perhaps not.
no subject
"Yeah, payin' them a visit would be a good idea," Konoka nodded. "Maybe along the way, we might find a clue on why the void is acting the way it is. You say it's been around for a long time, but only recently has it been pullin' people like this, right?"
The mention of staying together with her made her look at her SCA again, but now thinking more along the lines of what it meant for... the both of them. How very strange that this link had so many connected uses, that it formed both a figurative and literal bond between the two of them. Did her complex about secretly enjoying captivity have something to do with it? It didn't seem like it, but the oddness of the void's power meant nothing was off the table.
What was probably more important was Star Gazer's desire to stay with her. "Even if you had a previous owner?" Konoka asked softly. Her attachment must be strong, if the ship was throwing away her past for this link.
no subject
While Konoka's preferences may or may not have determined anything about their link, it did certainly make the period of adjustment much easier for them both.
And: "Not being able to recall them, there is no love lost, either. I can accept that there was another life, in the past, but I do not feel overly drawn to it."
Whatever the Star Gazer had been caught in the middle of, the tether had not held on in the slightest. Hence, the attachment in other senses was lost as well.
"It is far more likely that, whatever happened, they are in no state in which to be traveling the void. Voidcraft are meant for traveling, after all, and when they can't both their health, as well as that of their crew, declines."
no subject
"Oh, does this mean I am signed on to the traveling life, even when all this is over?" Konoka asked. There were some feelings to that, namely the chances that her reunion with friends could be cut short, but Konoka had already considered traveling before she'd been pulled here. What difference did it make, beyond who she was traveling with?
Some part of her thought that being 'captive' to the traveling life might have made her feel a little more aroused, but she couldn't just put that there, could she? She shoved that thought aside for now.
no subject
"... Essentially. Though it is unlikely that you would not be allowed to return home at all, as I did not enter your world to pick you up. The rules regarding that particular possibility are much more strict. As it is, so long as you are of the age of maturity as your world determines it, you could legally become my new owner."
And there was definitely a sense of anticipation to go with those words.
no subject
At the same time though, she couldn't actually stay (for certain definitions of stay). She'd essentially have wanderlust for the rest of her life. Whether that was a boon or a bane, though, she had no idea. She'd rather not dwell on it, to be sure.
"For now, there are more immediate things to deal with, right? I got quite a few supplies, so if I'm to own this ship, I need to know every inch of it," she said. "Kind of like how you know every inch of me. And..." Her cheeks grew red as she continued, "I'm really worked up, too. You've teased me all day." With the tension of the news dealt with, Konoka wanted to bury herself in 'playing with' her new surroundings.
no subject
"That's right," the Star Gazer replied, warmth fully sinking back in along the link.
"We do have this night to ourselves, as well. Back to your room, then?"
There was another option, but perhaps it was better saved until Konoka had made more progress on her lessons?
"I'll wait until you're settled, assuming you wanted to change."
no subject
It was mostly an affirmative that Konoka was headed to her room, but Konoka was also getting out of her clothes. After all, she was going to get much hotter soon.
Konoka shed everything, from her long skirt, to the sandals, and then her shirt. Each thing was nearly set aside, set in a special basket that served as laundry, except her shoes, which were put back neatly in a closet. Konoka also removed her underclothes, and she noted that yes, her panties had a noticeable wet spot.
Konoka knew Star Gazer would be more interested in her comfort, but part of her was curious. "Star Gazer, do you like it when I'm dressed in any particular way?" Konoka did think of donning things entirely for the ship's benefit, but that only mattered as much as the ship wanted it to. Given the things she'd be trying, Konoka opted to remain naked.
She might be wearing new and interesting things, momentarily.
She sat on her knees, on her bed. "I'm ready. Are you ready to captivate little ol' me?"
no subject
It wasn't an answer, the Star Gazer knew that, but she wanted to see where Konoka's own line of thinking could go.
"We could try seeing how you feel in uniforms, the ones with straps. How would you like that?"
But that was a thought for later. For now:
"So I am, Konoka. Is 'captivate' our word for tonight, then?"
There was definitely a sense of flirtation in those words. Without a warning this time, the pressure flowed back in, a caress up and down Konoka's spine.
no subject
Of course, she'd like to try new things she wouldn't normally consider, too. "That sounds like a great idea."
She pressed her lips down but smiled gleefully as the pressure returned to her sides, caressing her much like a lover would. "It sure is," her answer came out like a pleased sigh, as she let her eyes droop.
"I looked at a few toys to try and... enhance this type of play, but I was too shy to buy most of them still," Konoka murmured.
no subject
"I hadn't wanted to bring you to those places in the void first, though. You have other needs that ought be met as well, and those are better achieved on void-active worlds like this one. ... What sort of shapes were you considering?"
A ghost of a pulse crossed Konoka's mouth (when she wasn't speaking, of course), then another enfolded one of Konoka's hands, wreathing itself around her wrist.
"Tell me what you'd want it to do, and I'll see if I can simulate it. Just to test, of course."

was the previous uniform with a skirt bottom or pants?
pants, though I'm thinking kapri-length.
