RECYCLEDCRAFT: Space Sex Mystery?
PREMISE (example)
You awaken on a train - or a sleek-feeling spacecraft, or a boat, or even a submarine.
The shape of the craft isn't important, or even immediately apparent - but you are here, a sealed, surprisingly comfortable room with a soft bed, whereas before you were home. If home was even where you wanted to be.
"Good morning, passenger," a voice purrs; you can feel a presence with it, but there's no indication anyone is in the room with you.
There is, however, a comfortable weight along your legs, your arms, your spine... something appears ready to keep you here for a while.
What will you do?
CONTEXT
What is this, exactly? This premise is a smut spinoff of a wider continuity - the 'space'craft your character is on has taken your character from their home. It - any and all pronouns are fine, and if you OOCly have a preference just give a heads-up in your starter comment and we'll go from there - has been through quite a time recently, having lost its crew and the programming that initially determined its purpose. (Some data/facts still remain for basic navigation and specialization - see the next entry!) Nor does it remember exactly how it happened, just that something terrible happened and it has to do things more on-its-own now.
But what it can still do is (A) interpret characters' emotions and respond accordingly, (B) provide safe and sturdy transport plus life support and (C) bond intensely with those now tied to it!
This can be for a one-on-one scenario, a group account, or even joint threading if everyone would like to put in the time to sort things out! Can start with the premise above, or can be time-skipped along to where both parties are familiar with one another.
OPTIONS
What kind of 'craft are you on, anyway?
The Ace - originally a sleek fighter craft, this one was made to take to space and the skies with impunity! Very flexible, good at interpreting orders, and still carries echoes of 'tude from its former crew. And now it's focusing all that energy on you. Think you can take it?
Star-Gazer - originally a solo-craft meant for exploration, this 'craft was built to take someone far, and to provide companionship to anchor someone to reality on the way. It's designed to be cozy, and is not meant to be shared. Maybe it remembers another name alongside yours, but it no longer recalls those memories consistently. But perhaps that isn't a bad thing...
Like the Lightning - this was a mercenary's craft, passed along from generation to generation. With acute knowledge of trade routes and meticulously-crafted stealth routines to take shelter on even the most unexpected worlds, its job is to do the job - but it can't do so alone, and that's where you come in. Such a partnership does come with benefits, as a matter of course.
*This IS meant to poke fun at myself, to be clear.
GENERAL SCENARIOS
Introductions - Exactly what it says on the tin.
Visiting a World - Can be just shopping, can be a 'risk of getting caught' sort of deal, or you've caught whiff of Adventure. Each 'craft will have different reactions, of course, but fun CAN be had by all!
Voidstorm* - Traveling through one of these tends to have... unique effects. Usually ones that are temporarily bad for one's sanity, but not having to be alone during them is supposed to help. Or it can just make things weirder; you never know! Don't try to break the windows and go outside, though; that's never a good idea.
*I'm not changing what it's called, because I can't think of anything better to call it. To explain 'from the outside': imagine if sex pollen were a space phenomenon you could fly through, and be directly effected mentally/emotionally. Hallucinations, particularly shared hallucinations, are common. Seeing people you love outside and feeling compelled to go out there is also possible. Other possibilities include seeing emotions as aura colors, feeling compelled to speak and act on one's deepest feelings, and not being able to understand other languages.
You can see why sex pollen wouldn't be out of place here, right?

Other realms yielded much more success - over time, as Konoka got more used to her systems, the Star Gazer introduced her to implanting more complex requests to void platforms; how to leverage her own depth of connection with the Star Gazer to make unique or multi-layered options appear. She also made sure to teach Konoka how to use her own 'homing beacon': as long as she knew where she was from, getting to her exact world would take less time for them than getting to any other place from now on.
There were more mundane shopping trips to conduct as well - there were many wonders among the void active worlds, plus a few worlds that while not void-active themselves, were still known to and accepting of void travelers.
These gave the Star Gazer hope that Konoka could visit her own home more often... even though the Star Gazer didn't find herself thinking of Konoka's homeworld as home, not as such. Her home was simply wherever Konoka went, and that was all there was to it.
And then there were moments like this, where Konoka asked a question and the Star Gazer answered, eager to see where the conversation might lead.
"Control you how, my dear?" she asked, just a touch of lilt in her voice.
"I presume you don't mean teleportation, or how you can sense what I feel, or I you?"
The teleportation meant the emergency evacuation function on her SCA (which, they'd gone over, Konoka could activate on her own when off the ship by pressing the screen of her SCA three times in rapid succession).

The other was experimenting with her clothing. In the void, where it was just her and Star Gazer, she could freely dress how she wanted, and that went from trying out wearing her uniforms, to spending the day in casual clothes, or even naked. Today was one of those days she was using one of her uniforms, the first outfit she had initially not cottoned onto. This "frilly office lady" style had grown on her, especially since she was now doing maintenance to make sure Star Gazer was clean and organized.
There was also a collar she wore. It hadn't yet directly been used in any games she played, but she did wear it, and on the days where she wore nothing but the SCA, it did blend into that look.
"Nope! A while back, I declined being pinned to the wall. But that sounded like to me that you had some capability like that, figuratively speaking," Konoka said, while having organized some supplies. "Does that mean you'd be able to pin me somehow? Create your own binds or more directly control the ones I bought earlier?"
no subject
Voidcraft could modify themselves during the brief interval of parking 'within' a void platform, after all. But she'd decided it would be too difficult to make a proper surprise, and she did have other options she wanted to test out with (or possibly on) Konoka first!
"Those are not normally associated with voidcraft customizations, I must admit. It seems most designers do not choose to give their voidcraft arms for robotic-flavored maintenance."
Which had been quite the pity! "The main spheres of influence I do have, however, include selective internal gravity and the power of suggestion itself."
The latter of which Konoka could recall the Star Gazer having used on her before.
"Another idea would be to order a customized chair, either for your room or for my engine room."
Konoka's innate magical abilities and training in the use thereof meant she could, in fact, advance to the more targeted void engine harmonization classes, perhaps even qualify for captainhood itself!
But the Star Gazer might be getting ahead of herself, there; one pleasure at a time seemed to work best.
no subject
That's why the chair idea stood out.
"Then, let me see what the chair can do!" Konoka said in reply. "What do they look like?"
no subject
Some looked like chairs straight out of science fiction: slicked-back curves, little lights, buttons or even wires along the arms and back of them. Others looked quite normal, or even like small computer-desk chairs! There were more cushion-y chairs as well, though nothing as filled-out as a full on sofa or bed.
Color scheme was as variable as the chairs themselves, though the Star Gazer herself voiced no preference.
Chairs with seatbelts that could auto-fashion, into more than just from one single point to the other, did have a certain degree of emphasis. As did those that had more unconventional restraints, such as those that responded to body heat or hand signals.
"We have quite a variety to choose from," the Star Gazer noted plainly.
"I'm sure we'll find something that suits our needs!"
no subject
The selection of chairs was almost dizzying. Konoka could have scrolled for hours just getting distracted by the sheer amount on display. "Mmmm, let's narrow this down," she said, eventually shrinking down the choices to something resembling a luxury office chair. The seatbelt styled customizations definitely got her attention, as did the more unusual restraints.
With that, this narrowed her down to one choice, and she eventually settled on a turquoise office chair style with those customizations. "Let's go with this one," she finally decided. "I'll put it in the engine room."
no subject
Pleasure was not a one-noted thing, not in the slightest. Not for them.
"Wonderful! We'll be coming within range of another void platform within another day-cycle, Konoka; I presume we won't waste any time trying it out?"
Not that she needed to phrase it as a question, necessarily.
no subject
"Not at all. We give it a spin the moment it's installed in the engine room," Konoka nodded.
no subject
"Did you wish to explore that separately?"
Not that they couldn't fill their time with other things, of course...

They were in fact still in that box.
"Would we be aiming for something that limited your arm or leg movement range, something more targeted to your hands and fingers, or something that would on occasion stop you moving altogether?"
There was a matter of balance here; while Star Gazer did agree with the appeal of restraints, it wouldn't be precisely fair to leave Konoka unable to do certain tasks.
"We'd incorporate time limits as well, I presume; different ones for different body parts, perhaps?"
no subject
"I was thinkin' more limitin' arm and leg movement range," Konoka answered, taking a moment to briefly imagine having her elbows locked behind her. "I could have them completely bound and have to hop, but I dunno how easy it would be to switch." Though as Star Gazer mentioned time limits on different body parts, it seemed it wouldn't be as difficult. "If you can do that, can we also experiment with different restraints at different times?"
no subject
"Potentially chaining them, intermixed with a little delay. Perhaps not entirely randomized, if we prioritize which limb is restrained at a time in advance."
There was a pause. "Perhaps a retractable ball gag, as well?"
Though that had a different effect on Konoka than restriction of movement.
no subject
"Yeah," Konoka absolutely wanted Star Gazer to steal her voice.
no subject
"Consider it noted. Now, as for what we shall do in the meantime...?"
There was a 'chorelist', but the Star Gazer wasn't just going to come out and quote it, now, that felt a bit silly.
no subject
Ever playful, Konoka twirled 'away' a moment later. "We gotta finish movin' the boxes first! Geez~" But it was a task very close to completion, and she imagined Star Gazer was smart enough to refer to the task after that one. "But once I'm done, I think we have another lesson, don't we? I'm supposed to learn about maintaining your emotion engine." She gave a coy smile. "I wonder how much moving that takes."
They had some time to burn before they could get that chair, but Konoka was looking forward to it.
no subject
"It will take quite a bit of stamina, Konoka~"
If not for precisely the same reasons as moving boxes did. The Star Gazer had hoped for results from the Void Ministry in determining what world she had come from, but their final report was still more than a few days away.
For what it was worth, while there were a variety of ways to construct a voidcraft, the void engine always required an alloy of void metal with the more conductive metals used in computer chips or motherboards. The resulting patterns, which were described as a world's 'fingerprint' on the void metal, were necessary for forming the basis of tethers. Nearly fractal, the microstructures were simultaneously delicate-looking and very strong, only becoming more so as the voidcraft 'aged'.
In her engine room, there were seamed panels all along the walls and floor, covering these structures as well as their transmission nodes that formed the bases of the Star Gazer's 'corner' of the tether bond, the safety net.
What Konoka would have to do, after finishing clearing those boxes out, was essentially the equivalent of dusting... and it would end up feeling like lot of it.
Not as bad as if, say, the Star Gazer had been a voidcraft intended for large groups, but the attention was still necessary.
no subject
When she finished cleaning out the storage, Konoka took a moment to relax a bit, though that relaxation time had largely consisted of putting on the cuffs that she had discussed with Star Gazer earlier. Even if she didn't wind up actually restricting herself, the sensation of feeling them on her person was enough to make her tingle in a little excitement. Part of her wondered why she had gotten like this, but when you had someone who encouraged exploring yourself like this, there wasn't any surprise the moment she'd been given any thought.
Now, arriving in the engine room, Konoka looked over the various panels and the tethers connecting them. She had gathered what she needed to clean them beforehand, but how to actually move about this... "Alright, so how do I start?"
no subject
There were panels along two otherwise unadorned walls - the wall encompassing the control panel and viewscreen showing the distracting colors of voidspace had no panels - and the floor looked checkered with tiles, but these were simply more panels.
"You may wish to clean one wall in total at a time, as well; it will lessen the strain on your arms."
Rather than burning her out in one big blowout - though perhaps that thought was best saved for later.
"If you are wishing for a challenge, however, the insides of the panels should react favorably to your cuffs once unhinged, should you wish to attempt the dusting one-handed."
no subject
The brunette started with unhooking the closest panel on the nondescript wall, opening it and taking a look at the wiring and circuitry inside. Gently but firmly, she began to clean it. It reminded her faintly of cleaning lockers, but this took a slightly more delicate touch.
"I think I'm getting the hang of this!" She chirped.
It was about the third panel she worked on that one of her cuffs magnetized towards the open end. "Ah!" She gave a scandalized gasp. She attempted to pull on it, but to no avail, the magnet was too strong. "Awww..." Now she had to be a little more clever in reaching the corners.
no subject
The result, regardless, was that one arm was stretched out wide - sideways, rather than straight up, thankfully - and the other would have to remain concentrated in moving in tiny gestures to get all the dust out.
"I do not believe my engine requires magnetization, Konoka," she allowed herself.
"But your clothes should work as effectively as your equipment in attracting dust, if you are careful."
She could trust her passenger to be careful, even in moments of clumsiness like this. That was simply how the Star Gazer was.
no subject
"Uh, don't think I meant to do that!" Konoka countered, but nevertheless she put her arms to the test dusting the insides of those panels.
She was slightly reluctant to use her clothes, given that these were her uniforms, but circumstances demanded she be more flexible about it. "In that case, I'll try it." Gingerly, she used her sleeves (and gloves) to snag dust away from another panel. It would be tricky as long as she was stuck to one panel, but she could still reach a good amount of them before she was helpless to continue.
no subject
"Now, I believe that panel's cleaning is complete. Please form an obtuse angle between your central body and the panel to which your arm is attached. Then, step perpendicular away from the panel as firmly as possible."
That would break the connection, hopefully without forcing Konoka to unduly strain anything.
no subject
"Oh!" And just like that, she was no longer bound. She took a moment to rub her arm, more to check on it than to soothe any aches. "Ah, that's not too bad. Any more today?"
no subject
"It may be prudent to take a break - either for the day or merely to change clothes. It wouldn't be fair to you to have you collect dust directly on your skin, Konoka."
The Star Gazer wasn't inclined to go that far. That, and she personally doubted it would be as effective.
