Konoka too, was hopeful. The amount of people here, with no sense of despair, meant she'd be getting home sooner rather than later.
There was an odd chamber that she stepped up to, which initially made her a little nervous, but the reassuring lizard-looking men meant that she eventually stopped tensing up.
Konoka thought of home... on Earth though, and not in space. She thought of Mahora, and then her home in Kyoto. She wasn't sure which one was better, so she settled on the school (and if she suddenly showed up there, she could at least pass off her ship as science department weirdness).
Whether her friends would be home or not, that would be another question.
