Eri looked briefly puzzled before continuing, "So you're from a world with magic as well. That's... interesting, but hopefully not a big deal."
There were quite a few void active systems that also contained some kind of magic, after all.
"Still, compared to the people we've helped so far, that puts you in a better situation than most in that we won't need to seal your world off from the void as part of its healing process."
Glancing momentarily at the door, she added, "Moreover, we haven't had anyone we've rescued put in a request to have a voidcraft called the Star Gazer restored to them, and exposure to the void is... pretty deadly, on all accounts. We'll have to keep their case open, and we'll be sure to get back to you by the end of the month if we do hear from such a person after all, but I'd say you have some of the best odds on integrating, both the Star Gazer with your world, and into void active society, without just having to choose one over the other."
Eri smiled reassuringly, though it also made her look more tired.
"We'll still need to do a scan to identify the world you're from. Just to tick all the boxes, is all."
Hopefully, Konoka really would be the only person from her world that had been lost to the void as a result of whatever had happened. That did still leave some mysteries, mind, just no terrifying wider tale concerning her homeworld, or her family and friends.
