Through the senses of a voidcraft, there was a soft glow - strongest around the planet, and their fellow voidcraft flyers over at the spacedock - that added to the contrast of the deep blackness of space and the light of stars.

There wasn't too much more time to practice this, though; their first flight was nearing its end, and it would be back to the line for their second turn.

However, there was one detour to make first, once they landed in the target spot: to go inside Star Gazer and pick up a certain toy surprise.
