Konoka had been provided a full suit - only a few select parts of which were transparent, for safety reasons - but it in no way blocked the view of the planet below them, or the vista of space around them.

Granted, the constellations would in no way be familiar to Konoka, but she could parse basic clusters at even a glance if she so wished.

As for maneuvering, the Star Gazer kept things clean and simple, riding the tether to provide the best telegraphing possible of each turn and curve.

Still, as they flew along the course, the Star Gazer couldn't resist showing off, pulling a tight somersault around an asteroid after telling Konoka to stay back.

'You don't need to go this fast!' she explained. 'I just enjoy it.'
