They were now departing their visiting planet. For the first time, Konoka could feel the void, albeit in a way that didn't fry skin or mind. It was difficult to describe; the best she could do was maybe liken it to being blasted upward by wind.
She could feel herself almost float, the rush of the void tickling her skin. In a distant feeling, she knew this was Star Gazer taking off. But it felt so much like Konoka herself was doing all those things.
"Oh my gosh... I can tell you're taking off even when I'm just laying here!" Konoka exclaimed. She had largely been in the pilot's seat when they left worlds, and unless their departure was turbulent, she saw more than felt their takeoffs before now.
