That had been the longest twenty minute wait of her life. After she had come down from the rush of performing, she hadn't had the luxury of distracting herself with either someone else's performance or (too much) idle chatter. She did fire a couple of messages to Mary and Deece just to see how they were doing, but that didn't last long enough to distract her fully.

She won third place. For being a complete newbie, that was quite the accomplishment! One of the locals was kind enough to let her share a hug with them in celebration.

Her trophy was a necklace with a center diamond shape that gleamed with void energy. She held the center gem for a moment, simply in awe that her hard work had paid off. A few people were happy to give her more congratulations. Konoka promised that she'd come back to recompete, once she was a more experienced "magical girl".

For now though, it was time to retreat to Star Gazer. She was practically squealing "Hey, I got third place!" As soon as the ship was within 'earshot'.
