As the days went by - the Star Gazer counted them, something that could only be really done on a world and not in the void, and also paired that with sending photo samples of more worlds to Konoka's SCA - their plan for Konoka's performance grew more refined. Mixings of colors, the sensation of weightlessness, making energy travel in waves or in a fixed structure - all of these flew into the mix for the void traveler's training.
But the more Konoka imprinted her magic upon those bracers (or collars, depending how Konoka wore them), the longer their effects lasted at a time, unless Konoka made an effort to pull back her magic from them.
The skin beneath also became more sensitive, and... a sort of dualism of perception set in, where it seemed like Konoka was both human-shaped, and yet had wing-like structures, or felt the need to overcorrect when turning corners.
Or, just sometimes, that she could shift through walls and buildings, but this was an impulse it was best not to act on.
