"Oh, really?" Konoka hadn't heard of plants that made music when wind blew through them (and if they existed on Earth, she never looked it up). "Tell me more!" With a native who was also learning, Konoka already found herself interested. This might be the first time she's been able to actually talk with someone.

"I'm Konoka. Nice to meet you!" The void-traveler smiled at the taller native, though the plant still gleamed within her vision. "I'm a traveler of sorts, and I'm new to the planet-hopping thing, relatively speaking. It's nice to take a little more time traveling and actually meet people."

She would meander down a path, mostly matching whatever pace Mary took.
